Experiential learning includes a variety of activities with one common goal—to immerse you in hands-on learning outside the classroom where your experience is at the heart of the learning process.
The Experiential Learning Center (ELC) is committed to working closely with students, faculty, employers and community partners to provide quality experiential learning opportunities that enhance academic learning, integrate theory and practice, and promote professional development and active citizenship.
This blog is dedicated to informing the valued student, faculty, and community partner members that work closely with us. My name is Casey Prey. As the ELC Staff Writer, I will be managing this blog. I will post important articles, news, and upcoming events concerning the ELC. Additionally, I will post a few "journal entries" every week that document the challenges, thoughts, and progress of an intern (me) over the course of an internship.
